Thanks Tuba Exchange!

On a personal musicianship “note”, I am upgrading my personal inventory and have acquired a new tuba. One of the advantages of music clinics and conferences is having multiple instrument companies present with a wide variety of horns to “test drive”. I took some time at the Midwest clinic this past December and did so. After playing on 14 different tubas from 8 different companies, I came back to the Tuba Exchange from Durham, North Carolina. Dan Miner was very helpful, and I was really sold on the response and tone of their tubas. I eagerly await the arrival of my new horn, and would encourage directors, students, and other professionals to look seriously at their entire line if you are considering a new tuba purchase.
